Lots happening at Sunrise of Bassett during August
Choosemycare.com member Sunrise of Bassett have a number of events taking place at their home during August, that are open to the public including:
Monday 1st August at 3pm - Music in the afternoon. Drop in for an afternoon tea and enjoy music & songs from Good Company Duo.
Friday 5th August at 1pm - Gentlemen’s Lunchion. An exclusive invitation to join the residents of Sunrise of Bassett as their guest.
Tuesday 9th August 4:30pm - 5:30 pm - Care Fees Drop-In clinic. Free advice about how to fund the cost of your care.
Wednesday 10th August, 11am - Flower arranging competition. 2 categories, "An Arrangement In Miniature" and "A Summer Table Decoration". This judged event is open to everybody and is part of "Sunrise In Bloom" week.
Thursday 11th August, 2.30 pm - Tea and a talk "Southampton’s Role in D-Day and Beyond". A lively talk provided by Don Robinson
Saturday 13th August, 2pm - 4pm - 5th Anniversary Garden Party & Barbeque. Finishing the "Sunrise In Bloom" week, join our staff, residents and their family and friends. The Southampton Youth Orchestra will be helping the celebrations.
Wednesday 24th August, 3pm - Afternoon Tea and All That Jazz. An afternoon of popular Jazz tunes performed by June & Shirley.
