Skills Southeast have released training grants for Leadership and management development training within the care sector.
If you have ambitious plans to grow, whether you’re starting up or have been in business for a while, however many people you have working for you – you need to ensure that they are fully engaged with your plans. You need to ensure that you have the leadership and management skills to achieve this.
Through the Leadership and Management Advisory Service, owner managers and senior leaders of businesses and social enterprises with plans and potential to achieve high growth have a great opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills.
Understand what skills you need - an impartial and experienced Leadership and Management Adviser will help you identify your personal development needs at a face to face meeting at your place of work or other venue convenient to you.
Finding the right solution – the Adviser knows what solutions and providers will develop your leadership and management skills and can help you find the right one to suit your individual needs. Solutions can be:-
Up to £1,000 in grant funding to help pay for the training solution – this grant will pay for 50% of the fees excluding VAT up to the maximum amount of £1,000. For example:
Your Adviser will agree with you how this investment matched by your own will achieve measureable returns for your business.
Ongoing support – we will keep in contact to provide additional advice to help you make the most of your learning and identify what other support is available to help you realize your plans.
Eligibility Criteria
This offer is available to private sector businesses or social enterprises that:-
Skills South East will undertake an assessment to determine eligibility. All training must have started within 90 days of the grant being approved. All grants are exclusive of VAT and must be claimed within 90 days.
This grant is available to organisations in both South East and South West england, but it is being administered by Skills Southeast.
